After a great start and an even stronger run:
Mav brought Team Piraña in in rapid style, but there was some concern that he was actually insane by the time he crossed the line (pun intended), you be the judge:
Mav said when he finished he was seeing colors and stars and stuff. We kid you not, Mav was jumping and high fiving and weaving from side to side and leaping, etc. We then posed for a team pic
We then carried our flag as a team across the OFFICIAL FINISH LINE
and got our medals:
which are kinda cheesy since they are just some off-the-shelf Texas star thing that they zip-tied to a ribbon. They are heavy though.
We were either going to be first or second in our division (Corporate Open Male) so Mav talked them into giving us the second place prize (since they had enough salsa to give to first and second) and then mail us the first place prize if we won first!
So…they took our picture in case we won.
We had a great time! We are all very tired (except Mav who says he is ready to go again) We headed into Houston and checked into the Downtown Double Tree where we are currently cleaning up. We are going to eat at the Hotel Restaurant because we really don’t want to get back into the van OR walk anywhere!

BTW, did you read my previous post requesting NO MORE BOOTY SHOTS? That pic of t3? No one needs to see that! Kind of reminds me of the scene at Carl’s Jr. after the Mother Road. All that’s missing is Lamaze breathing (hee hee hee hooo, hee hee hee hooo)

Great finish line pics… except for that last one of T3. I’m so embarrassed. I just gave the website info to two other people I care about and that’s what they’ll see first!

I am so proud of you guys. You have done something most men don’t even dream about. or nightmare about. We have missed you Goose and can’t wait till you come home. Another person down with the stomach bug here and the fever continues. I need reinforcements!

It’s nice to see that you weren’t doing so much Weeble-ing & Wooble-ing and that you weren’t the one doing all of the vomiting this time. Nice of you to share your meds but I don’t think that Phenergan helps unless you are in a normal environment: ie. sleeping, eating, not torturing your body. Great jobs guys and get some rest now! I still think you are all insane and just in case you are wondering, yes, I’m still pissed off. Hugs & Kisses
