The Piraña Brothers are a loosely disorganized band of sometimes likeminded individuals who like to push the boundaries of physical and mental endurance. For some of us this means running really long distances (100 miles or more), or doing Full Triathlons (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) and such. For others it means putting up with the one who is running or training. For all of us it means being engaged in life, community and participating fully.
This blog is a spotty collection of our conquests and failures. It is a way to record what we did yesterday as a motivation for tomorrow. It is a way to communicate with those who stay home and rub it in their faces that we are having so much fun. Sometimes we honor our own, sometimes we honor others, but we are always irreverent.
We strive to keep this site mildly PG. We have kids and we want them to be able to read about what we do, however, that does not mean you will agree with or appreciate everything you see/read here. Proceed at your own risk.
It is our hope that if you come here and see how much fun it can be to throw yourself into the storm of uncertainty and come safely (slightly battered and worn perhaps) out the other side. Maybe you will be encouraged to try something that might hurt, but will make you a better person.
P.S. If you see Spiny Norman lurking about, don’t tell Dinsdale!
