Team Piraña has set their sites on the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon (April 27, 2008). This is the 8th Annual running of this “Run To Remember” and two of the Pirañas have run all 7 previous marathons. We are currently training Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as a Team.
The marathon is a great distance. It is long enough to require endurance training and proper hydration and fueling plans, yet short enough to recover from quickly. This will be a great early Spring warm-up for the team before we begin to go to longer races this summer leading up to the Mother Road 100 in November.
If you want to join us for a long run one Saturday, send us a note at gear@piranabrothers.com.com.
