Lucille’s Is a Historic Place

by admin on November 8, 2008

Just a ,ile from the Hydro Aid Station (55.4 miles) is Lucille’s, a roadside attraction on Route 66. This is where Samsonite met his match. After a rough time at the half way point he struggled another 5 miles before giving in to multiple issues.

Mav on the other hand is actually doing better. T3 is rubbing down his calf muscles at every stop and he is eating and drinking well. His mood is good and he is going to make it!

Goose continues to pace him and T3 is driving the crew vehicle. Weeble is on is way to relieve Goose.

It is 9:25 and Mav and Goose just cruised back out.

  1. Samsonite says:

Man, you guys didn’t even know that this was EXACTLY where I quit. This quaint little gas station is where I sat down and let the blood pool in my legs, and thus was the Fall of Samsonite.
